A child of God 1 Jn 3:1f

3:1 (See what sort of love the Father has given to us: that we should be called God’s children – and indeed we are! For this reason the world does not know us: because it did not know him. 3:2 Dear friends, we are God’s children now, and what we will be has not yet been revealed. We know that whenever it is revealed we will be like him, because we will see him just as he is.

Saved by grace Eph 2:8-9

2:8 For by grace you are saved through faith, and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God; 2:9 it is not from works, so that no one can boast.

Secure in his love Rom 8:35ff

8:35 Who will separate us from the love of Christ? 5:13 “You are the salt of the earth. But if salt loses its flavor, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything except to be thrown out and trampled on by people. 5:14 You are the light of the world. A city located on a hill cannot be hidden.

Having life 1 Jn 5:12f

5:12 The one who has the Son has this eternal life; the one who does not have the Son of God does not have this eternal life.

5:13 I have written these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life.

At peace with God Rom 5:1

Truly free

Jn 8:31f,36

8:31 Then Jesus said to those Judeans who had believed him, “If you continue to follow my teaching, you are really my disciples 8:32 and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”

8:36 So if the son sets you free, you will be really free.

Precious for God Isa 43:4
